Yahoo Finance reported that Alibaba unveiled its Zhenwu M890 AI chip, developed by its T-Head subsidiary.
The report described the chip as purpose-built for the memory demands of autonomous AI agents. It also reported the chip offers three times the performance of its predecessor.
Yahoo Finance also reported Alibaba introduced a Panjiu AL128 server system integrating 128 accelerators in a rack.
The article said the server system is available to Chinese enterprise clients via Alibaba Cloud’s Bailian platform.
Yahoo Finance added that Alibaba debuted the Qwen 3.7-Max model optimized for complex coding and agent tasks.
